MAKE was created four years ago by two friends Maria and Kate who had worked together for many years in companies like Habitat, Harvey Nichols, Dollargrand, Wallace Sacks, and L.k.Bennett.
We had always worked for other people, and decided it was time that we did our own thing, so we opened MAKE.
MAKE is half Maria’s the MA and half Kate’s the KE.
The long term objective of MAKE is to develop the company into a lifestyle brand, focusing on Fashion and Home Accessories.
Our logo and our lime green signature colour, is always used somewhere in our designs. The main company ethos is that our designs have to be both beautiful and useful.
We also wanted to MAKE the company fun, fashionable, and not too expensive, so that our products are accessible.
We have always believed in good quality and design.
Sometimes we also collaborate with other designers and sell their ranges.
And sometimes we design ranges for other people.
We would hope to attract a customer who likes the MAKE lifestyle.
We aim to keep our customers and give them excellent service.
Our first shop is this web site, it will not only have our products on it, but ideas and things that interest us from Design, the Arts, to even the odd recipe.
